During Copenhagen Fashion Week our shoes took a walk down the runway for the Danish designers Karen By Simonsen, Margit Brandt, Noir, Munthe plus Simonsen, S’nob de Noblesse - what great company to be in!
Saturday we were at the World’s Greatest Catwalk which took place in the middle of Copenhagen. The street was transformed into a 1,6 km long runway in pink. Over 200 models with a few celebs took the long walk – and some in Friis & Company shoes :)
It was a fantastic show despite the rain and an ocean of umbrellas….
Delicious Ice Tropez drinks, fashionistas and great atmosphere…with only a few raindrops 
Lounge atmosphere, cool drinks and DJ…. We are ready for Fashion Week! Let’s hope the weather will stay sunny…

Nope, it’s not our birthday, but the 10 year anniversary of Louise. 10 years - several collections, 3 beautiful children and a whole lot of great memories – we are still lucky to have Louise as a colleague. She is one of the first employees in Friis & Company and has been part of our great history almost since the beginning. Today we celebrated her birthday and anniversary with Asti and a huge cake.

Neon is becoming huge this summer, I see it all over. Personal I’m not too much into it, but the combination with nude and taupe gives it a nice summer twist that I LIKE! Perfect for a sunny day.

I think the last week must have been one of my busiest in a long time. I begun with Designer Stock Sale during the weekend. Monday and Tuesday I had press days and a blogger event. Wednesday I did the styling for our winter lookbook and later I went out with the girls to Danish Fashion Awards Cocktail Party. It didn’t get to wild for me this year because I had deadline for the trendpages for our sales map the following day. Never the less I love weeks like this, many different and fun tasks. Must say, this is my absolute dream job.

Hope you all had a great weekend. I just wanted to sharesome belt-inspiration with you. As I’ve said earlier, I LOVE using two belts at the time (but I didn’t wear any today?!). Anyway, some days ago I took a snapshot of Micha wearing two belts. What do you think? Hooked like Micha & me??

I’m kind of in a ’70 mood at the moment. I like to wear brown and gold accessories together with boot cut jeans (they make my legs longer…check). Now I just need to find a hat like the one above Tomorrow I’m going to a flea market here in Copenhagen, maybe with some luck I’ll find a perfect one…

It has been a while since I wore belts, but now I wear them all the time. I use them with a knot or wrap them around my jacket or cardigan. Buy your leather belts extra long and make a knot around the buckle. Use them with your feminine summer dresses, skirts or sweatpants as above. Do you have another good styling tip concerning belts?

Leopard is still hot hot, and the trend will definitely continue into the fall. Therefore leopard is a big keeper this summer! Wear a single leopard style or wear several different leopard printed things like on the inspiration pictures above – everything is acceptable when talking leopard this season.

…I’ve been away from the blog.
We did a show – our first show EVER!! 40 awesome entreces walked the runway. It was for our fall collection hitting the stores in August. I’ve been working super hard on it the last week. I’m soooo happy with the results. It was a intern show for all our agents and sales representatives. I couldn’t post to much about it on the blog, since it was a surprise show.
I’ll post some more pics shortly. How are you all? Ready for warmer temperatures?

Socks in sandals has been seen on runways, magazines and blogs for some time now. I’m soooo loving this trend. Definitely wearing my sandals with socks this spring. Perfect way to flash my new sandals months earlier without getting cold feet I prefer light socks in nude colours, what about you?
