We have lost a great part of Danish fashion. The fashion icon and designer, Margit Brandt, passed away last week. Margit Brandt was leading in Danish fashion and her simple cuts and miniskirts marked one of the first international breakthrough. She was inspiring in everything she did – and her strong spirit and memory will live on in her beautiful creations…. We send out our warmest thoughts to her family.

She will be remembered, honored and missed …

Last Sunday I went to one of my favorite parts of Berlin, Friedrichshain. It is a really nice place to spend a day-off, and just relax. The area around Boxhagener Straße is filled with lots of restaurants where they serve delicious brunch with 40-50 different dishes  for 9 euros! After brunch I always go to the fleemarket and all the 2nd hand shops in the area. It is a really good place to find something unique for your wardrobe. Last but not least I ended the day with the worlds best cupcakes from a bakery called “Cupcake” on Krossener Str. 12.

Now I have shared one of my best tips on how to spend a relaxing day in Berlin, but since I haven’t been living here that long, does any of you have some good tips for me?

I feel like Shakira when I wear this skirt! Bought it really cheap in Berlin! In Croatia I wore it together with my new Friis & Company Sandals in leo.  This is the 1st time EVER that I wear sandals (I truly hate my toes!) but I simply couldn’t resist this hairy leo version so I just had to get over this issue of mine…!

Me and my collegue spotted this bag on the Tegel Airport in Berlin! It’s of course just a very “seen” Balenciaga style- nothing special with that! But I was totally amazed by the colour!! I like the soft colour together with the heavy studs!

Yes, It might be high summer where YOU are but here in Copenhagen it’s still pre-summer with a temperature steady on 15 degrees and a rain that keeps on falling. Luckily we got sunshine for Distortion- like a gift from God!

Anyways, thought I could show you my favourite pieces for pre-summer.A bit ethnic- with straw used for both hat and on clutch. Some washed denim and not to forget: the brown & tan tones on leather.

Last week was a true party week here in Copenhagen!! The distortion festival was held from the 2nd -6th of june and approximately 90 000 visitors enjoyed beer, music and chillout time! The streets were crowded, I’m telling you!
