THIS WEEK we go back in time, and take inspiration from the ladies of the 40′s. A strong feminine look. Use deep, sofisticated colours as bordeaux and navy to get the 40′s feel. Here’s a couple of pictures from this trend’s shoot. We will post the final results later this week. Meanwhile, get into the 40′s spirit!

YESTERDAY, WE POSTED SOME behind the scenes pictures of the visual merchandising we’re got going on. Remember the stack of magazines? It’s a cool decoration, perfect for your fashionista appartment. Of course you don’t need hundreds of magazines to do this. Cheat! Take pictures of a small stack, print them out, and glue them on a box. Voila! Easy, right?

AS YOU KNOW, we focus on a new trend every week. That goes for the windows as well. Our visual merchandiser and her “crew” puts their brains together, to find creative ideas for window deacorations. Here you get a sneak peak of the idea process.

Our creative design department had an afternoon meeting about the collection for Summer 2012 – finding just the right trends and getting inspired… We look forward to seeing what they come up with!

To celebrate Copenhagen Fashion Week we coorporated with 5 beautiful ladies form the fashion industry to represent our shoes. They have each chosen three special edition shoes that mirror their personality and style. The ladies stopped by to get their pictures taken for a cool fashion book that comes with the shoes. You will get a real sneak peak on them tomorrow and you can buy them in Copenhagen in the store and online from Thursday… We look forward to showing you them!

Saturday the sudden cloudburst surprised a lot of us, and we all took shelder at the booth – so cosy!

Our creative and fantastic design team is working on some styles… The design process starts with a lot of research, sketches and then chosen just the right colours and fabric for each styles. To get the right result we need to add measurements and detail descriptions for when we get it manufactured…

Yesterday we were shooting our image pictures for Spring where we are focusing on Colour Blocking… We love the stong colours being mixed and matched! We played a little with the images behind the shoot to add a colour blocking effect to it – doesn’t it look cool?

During Copenhagen Fashion Week our clothing brand, The Wardrobe, was presented at the fashion fair, Gallery, in Copenhagen. The stand was decorated like the store in a wardrobe universe… And it got a lot of attention! I just captured the two lovely sales representatives, Didde and Kristina, all dress in The Wardrobe collection.

Yesterday we were getting ready for our launching of the new clothing brand, The Wardrobe. We are hosting a cool event in our store in Copenhagen with models posing and lovely bobbles from Eve. To get ready we needed to style the outfits, fit the models and find just the right accessories! Lately we have been really busy at the design department with our fall collection. Bread and Butter Fashion fair in Berlin started today, and soon Copenhagen Fashion week will follow. So you can imagine there is a huge buzz getting everything done within time!

This week our designers, Sidse and Emilie, went on a photoshoot for our clothing brand The Wardrobe. Just wanted to share with you a sneek peak into the Fall collection in action with some behind the scene snapshots. Notice the amazing handdrawn wardrobe as background too, isn’t it cool?
